My mom Susan influenced my life greatly through nurturing, guiding and friendship
My papa Gil taught me how to ride a bike and fish. He was my dad when I did'nt have one. My Nana his wife taught me how to dance and most importantly how to be a respectable young lady.
My brother growing up was my best friend and together we learned how overcome adversity at very young ages.
I had environmental factors that had a huge impact on my life:
I had a single mom for many years
Poverty
Homelessness
Lack of food ( I was a horder at school)
Changing school's constantly
Physically and mentally abused by step- parents
Exposed to drug and alcohal abuse
Rejection from a biological parent
Mr. Nelson was my third grade teacher until him I had horrible learning experiences (looking back now I know why) I was placed in his class and that teacher made me feel like I was capable of learning and I could accomplish anything.
